Getting dressed is an act of self-care. Every piece you carry should protect your peace, express your truth, and remind the world — and yourself — who you are.
Legytimates · Wearable Identity
Alignment is what makes style click. Watch how people are using their wardrobe as a daily ritual of self-respect — and changing how the world reads them.
Before you reach for anything, check in. What do you need today — grounding, boldness, softness, power? Your wardrobe answers when you ask the right question.
Alignment is what makes style click. When what you wear matches what you feel — and who you're becoming — you stop performing and start inhabiting yourself fully.
Attach an intention. A word. A season you're in. The piece holds it. Every time you wear it, you're reminded: this is deliberate. This is self-respect made visible.
Five pieces. Five intentions. Each one worn with purpose.
"Grounded in who I'm becoming."
"Soft but never small."
"Attracting everything I've earned."
"The moment it all shifted."
"What you wear is half what defines you."
Every Legytimates item carries a private chamber — a living inscription only you control. Not a label. Not a tag. A declaration you attach to what you wear, in your own words, in your own truth.
"I wear this as a reminder that I have already arrived. Everything else is just the world catching up."
"I want to feel confident without faking it."
"I want people to see who I truly am."
"I want to heal but still look powerful."
"I want to attract better things into my life."
"I want my life to mean something."
"I want to feel elevated, bold, and fully expressed."
Your wardrobe is not a performance. It is a mood ring, a shield, a broadcast. When you dress with intention, you protect your peace — and tell the world exactly what frequency you're operating on. That is self-care. That is self-respect. That is style that actually works for you.
What you wear is half what defines you.

Last updated: 1 January 2025Legytimates ("we," "us," or "our") is a wearable identity platform that connects physical fashion pieces to digital ownership records via QR hang tags. We are operated from Nigeria and serve a global audience, with a primary focus on the Nigerian luxury fashion market.
For questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@legytimates.com.
We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not run advertising pixels. We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
We use your information for the following purposes:
Each Legytimates piece carries a unique QR code. When scanned, the code opens this platform and loads data about the piece.
If a piece is unclaimed, no personal data is shown. If a piece is claimed publicly, the owner's display name and their intention note (if marked public) are shown. If a piece is claimed anonymously, no identifying information is shown to scanners — only the owner can self-verify.
You can change your visibility settings at any time from within the scan overlay. Changes take effect immediately.
The Safety Profile is an opt-in feature that replaces your intention note with a prominent emergency contact button when your piece is scanned. This feature is designed for personal safety — for example, if you are in an unfamiliar situation and need someone nearby to be able to contact your guardian quickly.
We share data with the following infrastructure providers, under data processing agreements:
We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or any third party for marketing purposes. We will only disclose your data to law enforcement or government bodies if required by Nigerian law or a lawful court order, and we will notify you where permitted.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and intention notes are permanently deleted within 30 days. Ownership history records are anonymised rather than deleted to preserve the authenticity record of the physical piece.
Stockist application data is retained for 12 months after a decision is made, then deleted.
Gift notes that have been revealed to a recipient are retained until the recipient deletes their account. Unrevealed gift notes are retained indefinitely until the piece is claimed.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@legytimates.com. We will respond within 14 business days.
We take security seriously. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Database connections are encrypted via TLS. We conduct regular reviews of our security practices. However, no system is completely immune to breaches — if a security incident affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
These are the rules of the platform — written plainly. By using Legytimates, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Last updated: 1 January 2025By accessing or using the Legytimates platform — including this website, any associated QR codes, or any features accessible through them — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users: visitors, registered account holders, piece owners, and certified stockists.
Legytimates is a wearable identity platform. We issue physical fashion pieces bearing unique QR codes ("Legytimates Pieces" or "Pieces"). When a QR code is scanned, it opens a digital profile linked to that piece, enabling the owner to attach a personal intention note, manage privacy settings, and activate a Safety Profile.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.
To claim ownership of a piece, add intention notes, or access your wardrobe, you must create an account. You agree to:
You may not use another person's account or share your account credentials with any third party.
Each Legytimates Piece may be claimed by one account at a time. Once claimed, a piece is digitally bound to the claiming account. The transfer feature is not available on the platform — ownership is tied to the physical possession of the piece and the initial digital claim.
Legytimates Pieces are sold exclusively through certified stockists. Any piece sold outside the certified stockist network may not be authentic and may not have a valid QR record. We are not responsible for pieces obtained through unofficial channels.
You agree not to reproduce, alter, remove, or tamper with the QR code on any Legytimates Piece. Doing so voids the digital ownership record and may constitute forgery under applicable Nigerian law.
If a piece has been gifted with a sealed message, claiming the piece reveals the message to the new owner. Once revealed, the message is permanently associated with the ownership record.
Digital ownership via Legytimates does not transfer the intellectual property rights in the design of the piece. Ownership is of the specific physical item and its associated digital record — not the design, trademark, or brand identity.
You may attach a personal intention note to any piece you own. You are solely responsible for the content of your notes. By submitting a note, you grant Legytimates a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display the note in accordance with your chosen visibility settings.
You agree not to submit notes that:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account termination.
Notes marked "Private" are stored securely and are never shown to public scanners. Notes marked "Public" may be seen by anyone who scans your piece's QR code.
The Safety Profile is an opt-in emergency feature. When enabled, your piece's scan page displays a prominent call-to-action for nearby people to contact your designated guardian. By activating this feature:
In any genuine emergency, always contact your local emergency services (e.g. 199 Police, 123 Fire & Rescue in Nigeria) first.
Stores and retailers may apply to become certified Legytimates stockists. Approval is at our sole discretion. Approved stockists agree to:
We may revoke stockist status at any time for violations of these terms or our stockist agreement. Stockists are independent retailers and not agents or employees of Legytimates.
All intellectual property in the Legytimates platform — including but not limited to the name, logo, design system, QR code infrastructure, software, and written content — is owned by or licensed to Legytimates. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property other than to access and use the platform as a registered user.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Legytimates content without our written permission.
You agree not to:
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Legytimates and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform — including loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to reputation.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Legytimates (directly) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₦50,000, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@legytimates.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
On termination, your right to access the platform ends immediately. Ownership records may be anonymised but not deleted, to preserve the piece's authenticity chain.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree with updated terms, you must stop using the platform and may request account deletion.
